The following is verbatim transcription from Hannibal Courier-Post, 26 June 1950. Following the obituary
is the burial notice. The burial notice indicates Mary Ellen was buried on the Saturday following her death, that burial
date would be 1 July, 1950.
The misspelling of the name YOAKUM (Yochum), the incorrect first name for Mary Ellen's mother -- the name was Lizzie
not Elizabeth, and the misspelling of the name HUTCHISON (HutchiNson) tends to indicate that whoever placed the information
with the paper was not a family member.
